SOFTRITE to implement Homebuilder Information System for Engineered Homes.

Engineered Homes, one of the top Florida homebuilders in the Orlando area has selected SOFTRITE's Homebuilder Information System to used to manage their homebuilding operations. This system is used by other SOFTRITE clients to provide a centralized database that tracks all of the operational data related to the construction of each home.

In most homebuilders, there is a proliferation of spreadsheets used to track information related to buyers, contracts, permitting, construction and closings. SOFTRITE's Homebuilder Information System consolidates all of this information into a single database which is shared by all users in the company. A series of management reports are then generated that provide views of the data in a variety of formats.

According to SOFTRITE's Denny Johnson, "The system eliminates the need for users to type redundant data into multiple spreadsheets, just to produce the various formats needed throughout the organization. There is a single copy of the data maintained, which feeds all reports, eliminating descrepencies and drastically reducing administrative labor."

The Homebuilder Information System addresses an area of the business that is mostly overlooked by other homebuilder software. SOFTRITE orginally developed the system in 1985 for Richmond American Homes. Newer, customized versions have since been created for Lennar Homes, Brighton Homes and Park Square Homes.
